| The Lower Nehalem
Community Trust (LNCT) is one of over 1,700
land trusts nationwide involved in
conserving lands for their natural,
recreational, scenic, historical and
productive values. These private, non-profit
organizations work cooperatively with local
landowners, communities and governmental
agencies, using a variety of methods to
protect lands.
The Nehalem Trust
is a member of the Land Trust Alliance, a
national organization that provides
leadership and resources to its members. The
Trust follows the Alliance's Standards and Practices
which help ensure that land trusts
operate legally and ethically. They provide
a firm foundation for Trust operations. For
