Apple Cider Pressing

Savor the last weeks of summer with sweet & sour cider! Join us at the farm for an afternoon of apple pressing. LNCT community garden volunteers will lead you through the process, from pre-picked apples to pressing to utilizing organic discard for mulch. This event is open to all LNCT volunteers. To allow us to prepare, please sign up by emailing maijahecht@nehalemtrust.org or signing up in person on the sign-up sheet in the barn. Please bring your own container! No prior experience necessary.

*These events involve sitting, standing, and walking short distances. Apples will be pre-picked during community garden work parties. Cider will not be pasteurized. Please wear clothing appropriate for working outside.
