Event Series Event Series: ELK MEADOWS-STEWARDSHIP

ELK MEADOWS-STEWARDSHIP

July 15, 2022 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Where:  Elk Meadows Park, at the end of Neptune Way, in Bayside Gardens, between Manzanita and Nehalem. (Turn south off of Hwy. 101 onto Bayside GardensRoad. Go to Neptune Way, the last right turn before you reach the Bay. Go to the end of Neptune Way. The park will be on your left.)(Also see map, below)
When: Fridays, June 24, July 1, July 8, July 15 2022  9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
This will be a great family activity in a small City Park near the edge of Nehalem Bay.  Elk Meadows is a park owned by the city of Manzanita.
What We’ll Do:  We will mulch, clean up tree cages and enclosures and remove any remaining Scotch broom, helping the Park’s native plants survive by removing competition. (Who knows, you may even see some of the neighborhood citizens after whom the park is named!)
We will provide tools and gloves, but you are welcome to bring your own. Please wear sturdy shoes and dress for variable coastal Oregon weather!
If you have questions about this event, please contact Lower Nehalem Community Trust at lnct@nehalemtrust.org or 503-368-3203.
