Meeting Location: Elk Meadows Park, Manzanita, map here.
Please bring water and gloves and wear long sleeves, pants, and sturdy footwear. Tall boots encouraged if you’d like to help us remove invasive species from trees in the marsh. Tools and snacks provided.
We will be using wheelbarrows to carry wood chips, loppers, saws and shovels to trim vegetation and remove invasive species, and screw drivers to install an extension to the current boardwalk over the marsh.
Project areas are accessible by flat wood-chipped trail and graded gravel access road and are located within 1/4 mile of parking area. All ages welcome.
We hope to see you there!
