Family Friendly Community Valentines Willow Planting, and Re-use Crafting in partnership with HEART OF CART’M, SUNDAY FEBRUARY 12th from 11am-2pm @ Alder Creek Farm
All are welcome to stop by Alder Creek Farm at your convenience between 11am and 2pm for a warm beverage, good company, sustainable valentine making, and to show the land some love! Come learn about riparian restoration and plant a few Willow shoots in our restoration area along Alder Creek. We’ll use the off-cuttings to make Valentines creations with Jessi Just from HEART OF CART’M! Bring a mug and the family for some stewardship and crafting fun. If you are not familiar with Alder Creek Farm, this is a great opportunity to come explore, ask questions, and tour the community garden and teaching trail. Warm beverages and light snacks provided. You are welcome to bring a sack lunch.
