Explore Nature: Sustainable Earth Friendly Gardening

June 29, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

REGISTER HERE and Get ready to get your hands dirty! Gardening is beneficial for its theraputic qualities, and this is your opportunity to join us for a morning in our organic community garden at Alder Creek Farm & Wildlife Sanctuary. You’ll learn about how we grow food in our unique coastal climate, our approach to “gardening together” and how we get to share our harves with the North County Food Bank. We’ll also share our methods for gardening organically to ensure a responsible and sustainable approach to protect the environment and watershed.

All experience levels are welcome! This is family friendly and children may attend with a guardian. Whatever your abilities or gardening preference, we will find a way for you to help and enjoy our garden. Bring your own gardening gloves if you have them and water to drink.

Alder Creek Farm is located at 35955 Underhill Lane in Nehalem. Drive to the end of Underhill Lane, and take the gravel road on the left all the way to it’s end.
