PLANTING NATIVE PLANTS – STEWARDSHIP EVENTS – Anderson House / NBH Border Project

December 31, 2021 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

WHAT WE’LL DO: We will continue our work on the borderline project across from the Anderson house. If you look in that area now you will see new native plants where invasive species have been removed, with a new exclosure to protect them. We will do more of that same work on Friday.

WHERE: Meet at Alder Creek Farm, 35955 Underhill Lane, Nehalem, Oregon. (See map)

WHEN: Friday, December 31 and Friday, January 7. Please arrive by 10:00 a.m. We’ll work until about noon.

WHAT TO BRING: We will provide tools. Please wear sturdy, covered shoes, dress for variable weather, and bring protective eyewear if you can. If you have a favorite pair of gloves, please bring them, or we’ll lend you a pair.  We will work together to remove invasive plants, so long-sleeved shirts and eye protection can help keep you safe from scrapes and cuts.

If you are are new to LNCT and are interested in participating in our activities, please sign up to volunteer with us through our Volunteer Signup page!

For further information please check out our Stewardship webpage, or contact our Stewardship Lead at: shane@nehalemtrust.org.
