STEWARDSHIP – THURSDAY EVENT-HEADWATERS – PROTECT OUR NATIVE PLANTS AND REMOVE INVASIVES

June 16 @ 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

When: June 16
Where: Headwaters property – Oregon Coast Trail trailhead at Nehalem Road and Hwy. 101.
What We’ll Do: We will hike part of the Oregon Coast Trail and enjoy the wildflowers, while removing the highly invasive Scotch Broom. We will also revisit plantings we did last year, to clean up and maintain the enclosures.

Wear sturdy shoes, bring water and a snack, and be ready to enjoy the camaraderie of your neighbors and friends. If you have a favorite pair of gloves and/or a favorite pair of hand clippers or loppers, bring them along. Otherwise we will have tools and gloves available for you.

We anticipate starting at the Oregon Coast Trail trailhead, at the intersection of Nehalem Road and Hwy. 101, just north of the Manzanita turnoffs. See map below. We look forward to seeing you on the land!!
