SUSTAINABLE, EARTH FRIENDLY GARDENING

July 22, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Saturday: July 22, 2017
10am – Noon * Alder Creek Farm
Easy * No Dogs

Experience a taste of gardening at beautiful Alder Creek Farm & Wildlife Sanctuary, and join us for a morning working in our organic community garden. Learn about growing food in our unique climate and our approach to gardening together and sharing our harvest with the North County Food Bank. We garden organically for a responsible and sustainable approach to protect our environment and watershed.

All experience levels are welcome, and we recommend children come with a guardian and be old enough to work independently.  We are sure to find a job for you whatever your abilities. Gardening lesson begins at 10 am. Bring your own gardening gloves if you have them and water to drink.

Location: Alder Creek Farm is located at 35955 Underhill Lane in Nehalem

This is a Free Event!
