Thursday Morning Highway Cleanup – Wheeler!
Join LNCT to clean up litter along the Coast Highway. Spend the morning with a group of friendly neighbors, and help us to keep litter out of the Estuary. What a great way to start your weekend! COLLECT IVY FOR BASKETRY CRAFTS
April 1 @ 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM WHAT WE’LL DO: We will collect invasive English ivy from one of our properties in Wheeler. The ivy will be used in the basketry workshop, to show how local plants fit in to traditional craft activities. As integral activities the ivy collection and the basketry workshop (on April 2) will demonstrate how our plants, art, and daily needs interact to enable the land to support tradition.
