WHAT WE’LL DO: We will continue our work on the borderline project across from the Anderson house, where we are removing invasive plants to prepare to plant native species this winter. We also will likely remove some of the shrubbery along the north end of the Anderson house, to clear the way for the replacement of the house siding.
WHERE: Meet at Alder Creek Farm, 35955 Underhill Lane, Nehalem, Oregon. (See map)
WHEN: Saturday, August 14. Please arrive by 9:00 a.m. We’ll work until about 11:00 a.m.
WHAT TO BRING: We will provide tools. Please wear sturdy, covered shoes, dress for variable weather, and bring sunglasses or other protective eyewear if you can. If you have a favorite pair of gloves, please bring them, or we’ll lend you a pair. We will work together to remove invasive plants, so long-sleeved shirts and eye protection can help keep you safe from scrapes and cuts.
