Peregrine Point

Peregrine Point

LOCATION

This three-acre oceanfront parcel is on the steep side of Neahkahnie Mountain between highway 101 and the ocean.

The Land

While the Land is steep and inaccessible to the public, it provides valuable benefits to wildlife.  Additional information on Peregrine Point can be found on the  Conservation Registry.

HISTORY

In December of 2006, the Trust acquired this property through donations from several nearby land owners.  It hosts a diversity of native plants, including some old growth Sitka spruce. It is adjacent to Oswald West State Park, extending the Park’s natural value.
