8:30 a.m. – Join LNCT to clean up litter along the Coast Highway. Spend the morning with a group of friendly neighbors, and help us to keep litter out of the Estuary. What a great way to start your weekend! The more volunteers we have, the faster we finish!!
We will gather at the intersection of Highway 53 and Highway 101 (south of the Nehalem Bridge) and disperse from there. We will pick up litter along the Coast Highway (101) between the town of Nehalem and the junction of Highway 53. We will finish by noon.
LNCT and ODOT will provide bags, gloves, grabbers, and safety vests. Please feel free to bring your own gloves and grabbers if you want! Please wear sturdy shoes, dress for variable weather, and bring a beverage if you want one with you as you do the cleanup.
